Architectures compared
Three approaches are studied, none selected: on-chain vault, limited delegation, encrypted information handover. Each has a different risk surface.
Caution
Inactivity is not proof of death: the study speaks of a configured delay, multiple reminders and the ability to cancel. Technical possession of an asset and inheritance law are separate matters.
On mobile
Direction: notification → local biometric authentication → voluntary confirmation → delay renewal. Biometrics stay on the phone; no biometric data is transmitted.
Open questions
- Who actually triggers the instruction at expiry?
- How to avoid any irreversible distribution by mistake?
This sheet describes a research direction or a prototype. It is neither a product announcement nor a schedule commitment.
